A year ago, as part of the A Day at the Beach festival, over 2000 West Coasters took part protecting their coastline by planting trees and removing rubbish from beaches. Now, it is time to celebrate this effort with The Grand Celebration at the Hokitika Regent Theatre from 5:30pm, Friday 3 Sept. There will be a whitebait relay race, live music, screenings of entries into the West Coast Film Challenge and the premiere of  the movie looking at the festival from 2009.
