CRT Prize Package Terms and Conditions

Definitions

“Beachfront Hotel” refers to all companies in the Tasman View Properties Ltd company including but not limited to Beachfront Hotel Hokitika, Ocean View Restaurant, Driftwood Cafe, Coasters Bar and Super Liquor Hokitika.

The “Promoter” is Beachfront Hotel.

The “Promotion” is the Beachfront Hotel sponsored Prize Package.

“Prize Package” means the award of the following:

  • 2 night stay in Ocean View Room at Beachfront Hotel Hokitika
  • $100 credit towards dinner at the Ocean View Restaurant
  • Full breakfast each morning following overnight stay

“Disqualified Participants” are:

(a) All Beachfront Hotel employees, all employees of participating sponsors or promotors and/or advertising agencies and their Immediate Families;

(b) all people under the age of 18 years old;

“Immediate Families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.

“The Terms” includes all items as listed in text below.

Entry

  1. Entry is limited to one entry per person.
  2. Entry is by logging onto our website at www.beachfronthotel.co.nz/CRT and filling out an entry form.
  3. The Promotion is limited to New Zealand residents only.
  4. Beachfront Hotel reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the Promotion on reasonable grounds.
  5. Beachfront Hotel reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize Package to any entrant that Beachfront Hotel decides (at its sole discretion) has violated the Terms, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  6. By participating, entrants grant Beachfront Hotel exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
  7. All entrant details must be valid and up to date and will be held by Beachfront Hotel for the purposes of the Promotion and future promotional purposes. Details will be held as per item (6) above.
  8. Beachfront Hotel will hold participant details for the use of Beachfront Hotel only and will not sell details to a third party at any time.
  9. Personal information  provided at this time of entry is presumed to be true and active through to and beyond the date of the Promotion’s completion.

Winning the Prize Package

  1. The Winner will be determined by random draw from all valid entries by the Judge.
  2. The Judge’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Winner will be notified in writing either via email or mail or phone and must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by Beachfront Hotel. Where attempts to contact the Winner fail (eg when mail sent is returned, no reply after two emails sent, no reply after two phone calls) the Judge will select another winner. If, after successful notification, the prize is not collected within the validity dates listed on the Prize Voucher, it will be regarded as forfeit.

Redeeming the Prize Package

  1. The Winner will be issued a Prize Voucher via email or mail.
  2. The Prize Voucher is not redeemable for cash.
  3. Redemption of the Prize Package must be prebooked.
  4. The dates of use for the Prize Voucher are subject to availablity. The second weekend of March in every year is unavailable.
  5. The Prize Voucher is valid until 31 December 2012.
  6. The Prize Voucher must be presented to redeem the Prize Package. The Prize Voucher is transferable. Once the Prize Voucher is used once, it is no longer valid for reuse.

Beachfront Hotel Responsibilities

  1. Beachfront Hotel reserves the right to amend, carry, extend or discontinue the Promotion at any stage, for any reason.
  2. Beachfront Hotel takes no responsiblity for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Promotion due to equipment or technical malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection, Acts of God or otherwise.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beachfront Hotel will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or winning the Prize Package.

Acceptance

  1. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
